Sinopsis Drama Korea IDOL: The Coup (2021):
Berlatar kehidupan di dunia hiburan K-Pop, drama ini mengisahkan tentang sosok idola muda percaya diri yang harus melepaskan impiannya.
Sebuah grup idola bernama Cotton Candy yang tidak lagi populer. Cha Jae Hyuk (Kwak Si Yan), CEO Starpeace Entertainment yang menaungi Cotton Candy terpaksa membubarkan grup tersebut. Cotton Candy bubar karena publik masih belum mengenal grup mereka.
Salah satu member Cotton Candy, Kim Je Na (Hani EXID) yang telah berkarier di dunia hiburan selama enam tahun terpaksa melepas mimpinya dan memulai hidup baru. Di sisi lain, Seo Ji Han (Kim Min Gyu), seorang anggota grup idola yang juga berada di bawah naungan Starpeace Entertainment memiliki nasib berbeda.
Bagaimana kisah para idola K-Pop Strarpeace Entertainment? Apakah mereka memiliki kesempatan untuk bersinar di dunia K-Pop?
